Before I get started, I just want to put a little disclaimer out there: All meals on this blog are more like Food Ideas, not so much "recipes." So, if you are looking for 2 Tbsp. of this, and 1/4 tsp. of that....you are going to be out of luck. Instead, you are going to see a lot of pour some of this in, then drizzle it with that, add more to taste and so on. Sorry if that bothers you, but really when you are just trying to get dinner on the table before you have a full-fledged hangry gang on your hands, that is the best you can hope for.
So! Let's get started!
Ingredients:
Canned Garbanzo Beans
Kale
Soy Sauce
Teriyaki Sauce or Hoisen Sauce
Favorite Toast of your choice
Pour a few cans of garbanzo beans in large pan/skillet. Mash with a potato masher. Throw (washed!) torn kale in and drizzle with soy sauce and Hoisen (or teriyaki) sauce. I bet BBQ could work too....mmmmm:
Heat it up until the kale cooks down a bit and the beans get a little crispy.
Serve on toast with fresh kale on top!
Enjoy!
